Was sorry when it finished, Timothy Olyphant is always good (Walton Goggins too). The Elmore Leonard books were good.

Not exactly obscure but I just watched the pilot episode of Pennyworth, it was quite good even Paloma Faith with a northern accent.

Oh No! Really liked Dark Matter. Quite simple standard sci-fi - but a really easy and fun watch. A pity about Dark Matter, I liked it too. If you haven't caught it yet Killjoys is a similar standard and also good fun.

Preacher is pretty good so far with 2 English actors in lead roles: Dominic Cooper and Joseph Gilgun while Limitless is worth a watch too, although already cancelled after 1 series.

Just watched the first episode of season 2 of Fargo, a lot happens and it was very good. Set in 1979 and based on actual events it looks like it's going to be a cracking season.

How strange, I'm watching episode 17 at this very moment. It's a good series but without Spader it would be just run of the mill.

A new show started in America last week called Ray Donovan with Liev Schreiber and Jon Voight. The 1st episode was very promising, I think it's going to be a good series. "Ray Donovan, a professional "fixer" for the rich and famous in LA, can make anyone's problems disappear except those created...

Thanks to Lyndhurst14 for recommending 'Bored To Death' I've watch most of it and I've really enjoyed it. I mentioned a new show earlier in this thread: 'Cult', it wasn't half bad but it's been pulled after 8 episodes, there are at least 4 existing episodes unaired. It's always a risk when you...

I'm up to episode 5 on Vegas, I'm enjoying it but it's not yet grabbed me as something that I can't miss. I've just watched the first episode of "Cult" which looks promising, though I hope that it's not going to go on and on with just the main premiss a bit like "Heroes" did. Another first of a...
