    [Albion] Champions League 23/24 Thread

What's the problem ? Makes perfect sense. The player who was offside was the player who shouldn't have been flagged offside so the linesman didn't flag the correct player offside because he was flagging the wrong player offside.

[Albion] Mason Greenwood, would you want him at the Albion?

I would definitely take him here. It would solve a lot of issues and fulfill a much needed role in the team, whatever went on at Manchester United. Mason Mount is a quality footballer.

    [Albion] Champions League 23/24 Thread

Dortmund played Munich the last time it was at Wembley Interesting that six Champions League finals have been played in the UK since 1992 and only one has featured an English team.

I think of Garth le Roux as being criminally missed as possibly our greatest overseas acquisition. Well, second behind Mushy maybe.

Well, much of my ancestry is from there on one side. I have no real opinion. A DULLARD like me should rather enjoy somewhere like Reading, but I fear it is too dull for even I. I always saw Farnborough as the enemy. My support for Aldershot Town goes back to the beginning. I remember Barton...

Well, I'm not voting Tory after that. Not voting for them for 33 years has no bearing on it.

Unlikely to have been a little bird. They love a pigeon stew. They may pop over to the Adur and pick up a wading bird for a take out now and then.

Well, yes, I can't help but think this is a two way thing. I suspect we have plenty of spooks on the case. You can't have a shit today without them knowing you've sat on the throne.

    [Cricket] It's just not cricket

@crodonilson Well done for making a sensible post on the matter. I would say the One Day cup could move to the old B & H group format with four groups of five. QF etc. That's 7 games for the winner, but it could be played over the summer. Your Championship suggestion seems reasonable. The...

Port Vale was always a splendid away trip. Excellent pub crawl. Scenery optional. I've only been to see Stoke City once. Rather dull.

That's the Aldershot in you. Mind you, I am also from the area (my first abode was in St Augustines Close near the ground) so I do share a bit of prejudice. I will get to have a beer with you at a match.

It was a tradition at Boys' Brigade camp to send a youngster to the officers tent for a 'long weight' or 'sky hooks'. I suspect I was both perpetrator and victim.
