Fair enough. I was also really happy he came back, he was the missing cog in the team that got us promoted that year. As I said, I'd rather not go back but if it happens I wouldn't complain really. (Until we go on another massive home winless run, then I will BOOOOOOOOOOOO alone in my room).

I seem to recall this too. I can imagine he'd be quite terrifying when livid.

I seem to remember people chanted "let him die" when he got injured in the play-off semi first leg, there was a lot of hate for him, as there is for Potter now. And many didn't want him back in 2016 either. Don't think its completely different, maybe the manner of the respective departures, but...

In some ways I guess. Think both were kind of down to money in the end though, Potter got offered a big wage increase at chelsea. Palace offered Glenn way more than we were prepared to back then? Might be wrong, didn't really properly become a fan until the following season :blush:

Glasner hasn't been there very long in the grand scheme of things. I may be wrong but I think Potter turned down Spurs while with us? Give it a year or two where Glasner sustains this form and he'll be off imo.
