Good stuff. We’re in the process of getting quotes for solar with battery, and the limitation surprised me. At a minimum, I guess we’d want lights, freezer and boiler to be powered.

Not strictly true, but you do need an extra bit of kit to operate completely off-grid.

Already had it marked in my calendar, but in any case the lawn is currently covered in builders’ crap while they rebuild some patios. It’ll need a peaceful month to recover. Actually, we have four separate lawns, but one will be given over to a permanent wildflower meadow after this.
