What a signing that would have been! Maybe RDZ didn't want 25 year old, International Starter types who were ready to play. Though if was him OR Barco could have been a tough one.
One more season of him, and Jack Hinshelwood is shirly the only replacement for his consistency and style. Not ready yet though. Would love to hold onto Der Kaiser longer and have them sharing the load for years, plus training together longer, but expect he'd get big money for a year or two if...
Slightly hard to answer as depends how much they're on a week guarenteed and as bonuses. But potentially all four. You might just lower a couple of them's guarenteed money and incentivize game time more in the new deal.
Agree with this that I don't really think he did too much amazing at Luton other than continue to steer a ship, set on the right course. He didn't do anything wrong but not sure it was any huge success either. Can't think (or know) of much he did before Luton either. Would be the biggest gamble...
Exceptional at England youth levels (all be it with strong squad) and actually won things. Very decent at both his senior Champ/PL jobs too. Agree if he was Italian or German and had catwalk looks, many on here would be more positive.
He strikes me as the best of the rest. There are 9 huge...
Close to each other in attack would suit us. I'd worry the Premier League would suss us out after 6 months, not better than, but at least as well as anywhere. Only a maybe though and hey I'd be excited about it (not that that's too difficult).
Also bonus points for the article mentioning...
Ah damn it, I have tomorrow plus weekend off, and it used to be about a 60 quid flight (doubt any longer). Just made plans an hour ago though.
Also as annoying as being a short flight away from Japan, but already booked to be back in Sunny Sussex for the whole of July :ROFLMAO:
He'd have to really want the role and be like an eager puppy for me to consider it and even then sure we could pull 10 exciting foreign names out the hat instead.
If we keep Estupinan then no need. If Barco's the starter and we end up selling last season's (not this season's) best player, then we would need a back-up that's not Milner or Igor (beyond emergancy few minutes).
Less like the majority. Am sure is pointed out that was a few games in and after a window...... this is the perfect time and our choice! Not even comparible.
Gone for 8 as on and off the pitch we have so much potential, promise and plenty of returning talent.
Just want to stay at least that high or move up with a good summer with a couple additions more than we loose (only counting players we don't want to in the against column) and a decent manager...
