What a miserable thread this is.
We have a great chance of winning this. We've got the best-attacking players (apart from Mbappe) on the planet two of the best CDM and the best all-round midfielder. Our back 4 isn't amazing but it's not poor and there are few right-backs or central defenders...
Based on Journo's various articles?
You can be sure that Albion has spoken to at least a couple of the candidates on their list. They may have made an offer to one of them but I'd imagine the one they have made said offer to will be the one that is almost certain to say yes. They will have...
I bet you're fun at parties?
It is a very crucial appointment for sure, more tricky than when Potter left. I disagree with your assessment of the players because what you're not acknowledging is the improvement in those youngsters after a season of either Premier League or Championship...
Sky are reporting that Man United met with McKenna's 'representatives' last week. Lots of if's incoming but...IF this is true and IF we are trying to get him and IF Chelsea are serious about him as well, should we just move on? This could take a while to play out and IF he has the choice of...
I don't think that Bloom would go back to Potter but who knows. I think Potter will eventually get either England, Man United, or a club abroad. My bet would be that McKenna will not be offered Chelsea or United yet and will eventually become our new Head Coach. However, the other interest will...
Totally agree. Of course injuries didn't help but the players we had were better than getting pumped by Bournemouth and Fulham, drawing with Burnley etc.
I honestly don't get why people have a go at Barber so much. He's such a massive part of how our club has progressed. So the press conference might be dull and not give us the info on RDZ or incoming we want but the club obviously feels it's needed so either watch it or not, waste of energy...
I would not be shocked if the McKenna thing is a red herring. When RDZ was appointed no one was really looking at him being the favorite. Farioli or Knutsen far more likely I'd say.
Personally, my reading of it is that he has been planning next season for a few weeks now and as part of that has met with Bloom twice. He's not looking to move (lots on here were accusing him of giving up and plotting to go) but I suspect if an offer comes in from a Euro giant he will of course...
