“I was at the fans forum and RDZ is 100 💯 staying !!!!”

Oh really !!!
What’s changed in 2 weeks then ?

This has been on the cards for months.

“ I love the city and will stay until I’m no longer loved”

???
So who doesn’t love you?

Look at his CV, he doesn’t spend any longer than 5 minutes at a club.

What I don’t get is Why take the job in the first place?

Why employ him?

What has drastically changed in 2 years?

Why have we been lied to about his future?

Tony n Paul

“We are a well run club and live within our means, we won’t spent unnecessary funds, we see ourselves as a top ten club and discover and nurture underdeveloped gems”

Rdz

Oh yes Tony n Paul,we see eye to eye.

The jobs yours.

Though RDZ has a bigger ego than poyet.
Wants to be a champions league club and spend millions in the transfer window!!

Bye bye, the club again has handled it brilliantly. Ship him out, get someone who fits the Brighton model and wants to be here.

Now is the time so the new manager has a full pre season.

I don’t know why RDZ and co bother turning up today.

I’m glad he’s gone.
You clearly didn’t travel to Marseille, Amsterdam, Athens and Rome, or watch us dismantle Chelsea and Tottenham at home?

Like those windows in Amsterdam*, it only lasted a short while but f*** me, the memories, they can never be taken away ⚽️❤

*so I’m reliably informed 😂

Me too to be honest, l was confroned by the news when l stepped off a flight from the States early this morning.

Not quite sure what to make of it really, as per usual l am playing Devils Advocate, on the one hand TB & PB's seeming lack of ambition and not building on last season's 6th polaced finish and adding quality players to the squad, as RDZ wanted, and on the other hand disappointed that our manager seemingly gave up on us so easily.

With us almost certainly finishing in the bottom half of the table, morale amongst fans and probably the players too suddenly low, l am seriously worried about next season.

I think you might be wavering onto the entitled side of the fence, we are Brighton, getting to 40 points on kick off is the way to look at it not worrying that we might not be top 10. Suggesting TB lacks ambition is quite insulting imo.

We got things wrong in areas of recruitment last season, let’s see how we do this summer before starting to worry.

Not sure we did tbf. De Zerbi certainly over achieved brilliantly. It was agreed (and he'd have known it) that Ali Mac was going. Conceido was meant to stay but there's no way on earth our club could turn down such a ridiculous offer. Trossard downed tools, sadly. Mwepu was a shock, no ones fault. Can't blame the club for any of that. Having over achieved one can understand De Zerbi "pushing on" with big spends but many a club has cocked up that way. And that really isn't Tony's model. Personally, I'm glad we didn't listen to him nor fan noise about it. Better to stick to the model imo, Bloom has already shown he is smarter than 99.5% of the rest of us.
Who the hell are the other 0.5% ?? 😊

A poor end to an injury riddled season can never take away stepping out into Stade Véledrome to see us play our first ever European away game.

Are you really worried about next season? I am very optimistic that we will achieve a top 10 finish.

De Zerbi was told the ambition was to achieve Europe for the club. He did that and then had his best players sold, not replaced with quality and no actiivity in January when he said time and again we needed strengthening. Sorry but we changed and not De Zerbi. He is the most talanted Manager we argiuably have ever had. I am gutted

Spot on. Feel we are lacking real ambition to progress further. Top 10 every season, bit boring no? I want us to compete for trophies.

An overview of the entire Potter/RDZ PL years:

Toothless football, the xG kings, we always concede.

Bar a wonderful period April 22 to Sept 23. Paradise.
Quite - just a shame Roberto got a mythical 20 goal a season striker and still took us backwards
