Absolutely not. Would seriously damage the clubs reputation if they even considered him.
He's still with the same bird isn't he? And they are living happily in Spain which suggests that maybe things were blown out of proportion?
Obviously what he was suspected of doing is terrible and the audio isn't great. But there are 2 sides to the story. Perhaps he was protecting himself if she got physical with him etc?
Probably not worth signing though. Too much hassle and controversy.

What point are you trying to make with your (rhetorical) question?
I doubt many who gave it much thought were particularly happy that Bissouma was playing. Some pretty disappointing chants at the time making light of it as well from our own. It was very unsavoury, and from an ethical point of view, it would've been nice if he'd not played whilst under investigation.
At the same time, football clubs aren't exactly the most ethical businesses anyway, so it was hardly a surprise.

Well those audio certainly isn’t any element of self defence when he is trying to force her to have sex. Only got to listen to his voice and hers to know who in that relationship is aggressive towards the other.
Likewise the extensive bruising and busted face say otherwise.
I think the likely scenario here is he was charged and remanded initially but got bail from court despite the serious nature of charges which was the mistake Pleaded not guilty and then as with a lot of DV cases he wore her down once out, breached his bail conditions clearly, as he got her pregnant in this time within a month of being released on bail which would have contained bail conditions not to contact her. It’s no wonder it collapsed later and everyone retracted what they previously said.
He knows what he is and what he did. So does anyone with half a brain.
Just because he wasn’t convicted doesn’t mean he isn’t guilty.

The burden for proof for arrest is minimal. Police only have to suspect you have been involved in an incident. Suspicion can be based on very little.
Should he play football whilst that investigation continues is a matter for the club. The problem with police investigation is the period of time they then investigate. Can range from days to years. I suppose the club have to decide whether the asset is to remain sidelined indefinitely or if the asset is to play still. I would assume the club have there own internal policy regards such incidents and no doubt it’s based on a case by case basis. If charged I’m sure Brighton would have suspended him. In addition whilst under arrest you are not usually named in order not to affect an ongoing investigation.
Greenwood was charged - CPS clearly based on evidence most of which we wouldn’t have see in terms of phone data, statements from friends and families ect. They would have charged based on the evidence available and believed at that time if the victim and witnesses had come to court they would have most likely got a conviction.
He was bailed and within one month she was pregnant. If he had spent 9 months in remand prior maybe her and the witnesses would have come to court maybe he would have been convicted as complications about children, Greenwood saying “he’s a changed man it won’t happen again ect” wouldn’t have been relevant. Who knows now.
But no based on what we have seen and the fact he was originally charged I wouldn’t want him here.

As The Sun article from the time clearly states, "Clips filmed by onlookers show Bissouma being led from The Arch bar in handcuffs at around 2am."
There wasn't a Sun staffer photographer there.

Weird response. You repeatedly ask people the same question, they answer it and THAT's what you come back with?
If you want to have a debate about it, I'm happy to do that. I'll tell you that they are ENTIRELY different situations and, at the end of the day, it's down the the individual club to discipline players in whatever way they choose, given the evidence.
But REALLY well done if your main intention was just to do a bit of 'fishing'. You must be delighted (and spent) – have a biscuit.
Just to comment on the Greenwood case, whether it's proven or not, whether he's innocent or not, he comes with several suitcases worth of baggage that will only prove to be a distraction. You only have to look at the volume of discourse and disagreement on this thread to know that it's asking for trouble on a wider scale.
I wouldn't want Greenwood anywhere near the club for that reason alone although, having listened to the tape of him, he doesn't seem like the sort of guy who takes rejection like a gentleman...
