Is it the same as Tonali? I can’t find anything online that suggests Tonali was deliberately manipulating events in games for a betting syndicate. Tonali has been caught betting on Newcastle games but as his bets were for Newcastle to win it’s not as serious.
A betting addiction with straightforward betting going on and deliberately getting booked to help others fraudulently win bets are two very different things.

The charge is that he deliberately got booked as part of a betting scam. If true then while he might not have placed the bets he’s in some serious trouble.
Surely all managers are stepping stone managers. It just depends how patient they are for the next move or if they’re good enough to get the next move.
The club has been on an upward trajectory for the whole of Tony Bloom’s time in charge. There have been dips (post Poyet until Hughton came in) and what has been demonstrated time and time again is that the club provides a brilliant opportunity for good managers to do very well.

I agree with this, except I think the list of clubs who could retain them is slightly longer (but that’s not really important to the point - it’s still a list Brighton are miles away from).
I think that we are an extremely attractive club for prospective managers. Potter’s time earned him a move to a ‘big’ club and enhanced his reputation no end.
