Ah, that’s very good. We went up quite a winding path through woods. Lovely walk.

I’ve not been for a few years so I don’t think I would have been up that path. Good? It was a bit of a slog when we went last about 6 years ago.

If you choose the Lakes, pack for all weathers. As a local said to us, “if you don’t like the weather, wait five minutes” 😂

Hard to beat the view over Windermere from Orrest Head. We stayed at the Grey Walls Inn. Great place to start some excellent walks from and a lovely place to stay.

Love that area. Gets very busy in summer but up at the Ambleside end of the lake, it’s a bit calmer. Probably be okay in June though. July, Aug, September are the crazy months. Keswick and Derwent Water is also a lovely spot.

Keeping Up Appearances

Bit of a night of the long knives. Wagner, DbZ etc. I was in Norwich on Thursday when Leeds smashed them. I like Norwich as a club. My Canary’s mate was gutted. All change!

The Fall Guy is f***ing terrible.

Benefit or not, being forced to pay tax on something that was taken from you as a tax in the first place is f***ing obscene.

Brexit doesn’t affect me in that sense as I am an Irish citizen and still have freedom of movement. As for the financials, that’s going to be less of a problem abroad that it will ever be in the UK.

Yeah, it’d be a great look for a modern family club. Flying everyone around in helicopters and private jets. They could always offset the carbon footprint by turning the stadium into a large solar panel.

There is no way I’m retiring in this country, whoever is in power. Unless you are very comfortably off, growing old is awful in the U.K. Unless you are a working unit or the government can raid your bank account, you are useless to them and they’d rather you just hurry up and die. There is...
