I remember walking up in 1977 to see the Queen’s Silver Jubilee beacon although I only made it half-way being 7 months pregnant!

Having worked the election and count for more years than I care to remember, this year I will fire up the lap-top, cast the BBC to the tv and watch through the daytime! It will be quite surreal not having to drive home bleary-eyed around 06.00am!

I know I could register and vote, but without a proxy there is zero chance of a postal vote getting to me and back in time.

My satnav is programmed with HOME. It’s a random house 2 streets away😂

In slightly better news, it is being reported that the baby is being moved from intensive care to a ward and has been recategorised from critical to serious. Let’s all hope this little soul makes a full recovery❤️

Apparently she has died. 38 years old. So very, very sad.

You hear of mass shootings, mainly in America, but this guy walked up to, and stuck a knife into, multiple people including a 9 month old baby. Horrific for everyone involved.
