[Albion] Italian train strike [National Strike Fri. 8th March]

I have booked train from Rome to Verona on the Friday morning 08.25. It seems there are fewer trains that Friday than the previous Friday so maybe that’s the extent of the strike in terms of trains on that line ?

That was horrendous - we should be embarrassed!

mmm On one hand we have fans who are "embarrassed and ashamed" calling it a disgraceful performance and on the other we have some who are "honestly not bothered" I think both are wrong. The extreme negativity is unnecessary but we absolutely should be bothered that we were beaten by a non...

Palace flags and shirts in Sussex

Most Palace fans I know are decent fellas, can't blame them for wanting to show their colours a week before the cup final. Honestly I wouldn't be devastated if they won, cannot bring myself to support the Mancs.

If Boro play a 5 man midfield how does 4-4-2 counteract this?

But when you don't have the ball, does your central attacking midfielder drop in making it 3 in the middle? Effectively that makes it 4-5-1 defending

It could also be up to a week later if Charlton v Burnley is abandoned and replayed behind closed doors

    Points needed for 2nd

I am CONVINCED that we will need 3 points at Boro for 2nd. Anything less will mean play offs

    Ritchie Towell

He has now but not when that was posted. Towell must have been above Crofts in the pecking order and I have to say it seems Sidwell is a shadow of his former self. I would like to see him on the bench for the run in as he would potentially offer a goal threat from midfield that we don't...

    Naylor slags off Amex support

This basically. I usually sit in the southern end of WSL but for Reading I was right next to the North and noticed that the police box NSK mob are pretty much non stop but the rest of the North either don't join in or start a different song. I know this issue has been raised before but...

    Hemed's disallowed goal

I always understood the rule was "if the ball is played forwards" therefore if the ball is passed back then it doesn't matter what position the receiver is in. Seems irrelevant in this case but worth clarifying, any refs out there ?

[Football] Throwing caution to the wind?

What does "going for it" mean? It's about substitutions around the 60 mins mark. It's also about attitude and set up away from home. I have no problem with how we played earlier in the season when we set up 5 across the middle and were difficult to break down (e.g. Hull away & Sheff Wed...

[Football] Throwing caution to the wind?

I have been thinking exactly the same. Although Derby from last season should be a cautionary tale to not count your chickens. They won just two of their last 13 (against soon to be relegated Wigan and already relegated Blackpool ) and finished outside play offs.

At what point does chanting cross over the line?

There was (Palace fan killed under a coach after Semi Final with Liverpool) and we* did ("Wheels on the Bus") * Some Brighton fans

Two interesting things I found out yesterday

Presumably you mean Percy Bysshe Shelley, celebrated poet and Horsham's most famous son.
