    [Politics] Labour Party meltdown incoming.......

"Dissing" and "campaigning" against Labour? Blimey, bit overdramatic. I wonder if it was "wind the same direction" when the centrists were actively trying to undermine Corbyn... I gave you two articles showcasing how pledges have been "rolled-backed", U-turned, or broken, and you clearly...

    [Politics] Labour Party meltdown incoming.......

Voting Tory and being virtuous, now there's an oxymoron if ever I heard one! You bemoan a lack of nuance and yet call people who take umbrage with the treatment of Abbott as "hard left". Jesus wept that sort of lack of self-awareness is truly mind boggling.

Didn't you get the memo? Abbott bad. Elphicke good.

    [Politics] Labour Party meltdown incoming.......

In principle yes, breaking, or u-turning if you prefer, on one or two is the mark of flexibility. But to break, or U-turn, on ALL the pledges he made speaks to something else in my book. https://actionnetwork.org/petitions/10-broken-pledges...

    [Politics] Labour Party meltdown incoming.......

'Loony lefties' and 'hard left' already making their way in the lexicon used on this thread and we are still on page 1! Just missing the overuse of the word 'WOKE' to describe ANYTHING vaguely non-twattish and we will have Tory bingo!

And the fact he broke ALL the pledges he made when he became Labour leader doesn't bother you in the slightest? 🤔

[Football] Gary Lineker to step back from presenting MOTD

The rhetoric of the “other”, of an “invasion” or “swarm” is exactly what happened in the early 30s in Germany. It didn’t start with gas chambers and genocide. It started with propaganda and fear mongering. I’m in no way saying that history will repeat itself, but when you have Holocaust...

[Football] Gary Lineker to step back from presenting MOTD

So it’s/ was fine when Andrew Neil, Jeremy Clarkson and Alan Sugar use/ used their platforms to view their political views. It’s fine that Laura Kuenssberg has fundamentally been a Tory mouthpiece for years. It’s fine that Fiona Bruce, the host of their flagship political program, Question Time...

    [Politics] Sue Gray is Red

Is this an attempt at satire, sarcasm, tongue in cheek or are you just monumentally stupid? Hard to tell over the internet these days

[Albion] Was that a penalty to B’muff???

Would have been a travesty if it was given as there was a clear foul on Veltman in the build up. *in regards to the handball. As for the shoulder to shoulder, not dissimilar to Haaland on Webster earlier in the season.

[Albion] Leandro Trossard SIGNS ON A FOUR-YEAR DEAL

How good he can be. He can be a game changer, a match winner on his day, but those days are too few and far between. At the moment I don’t see how he can start ahead of Mitoma or March, the latter of which may not be as exciting, but is far more consistent.

[Football] Who’s not watching the World Cup?

I wish the Brighton lads well but I too won’t be watching any of the WC.

[Albion] Can Trossard now be considered world class?

Trossard vs the “big six” is a very different player to Trossard vs not the big 6. He’s too inconsistent to be deemed “world class”, IMO.

[Misc] Sayings your old mum or dad said.

My dad gave me perhaps the most sound advice I’ve ever heard; Never trust a Tory. In footballing terms it was always “he’s no Peter Ward”

    [Albion] Boring.

Had it? It looked decidedly “uncracked” against Fulham 🤔 and I don’t remember being able to crack Newcastle in August. Don’t get me wrong, things were seeming to “click” with GP in the last 6 months or so, but it still wasn’t perfect.
