Those voice notes of his that got leaked on the day of the Athens home game (I think), where he spoke whilst walking around the city. Irreplaceable charisma
It'll take an awful lot of me to ever love a manager like I loved RDZ. His charisma alone is pretty much irreplaceable, yet alone if we replaced him with that gormless idiot Potter. It's a resounding no from me.
Whether RDZ wanted to sign Dahoud or not, the higher-ups at the club still made the final decision to pull the trigger and sign him, no?
Not entirely sure how I feel about the blame solely resting upon RDZ for that when we're all too aware that business doesn't get done until Bloom...
I hope so too, of course my actual expectations are low but this team have given us so many unforgettable memories throughout the European journey that I can't help but dream of one more.
Regardless though, we can be immensely proud of this UEL campaign. We got stuck in against some top...
I think what also makes this more frustrating for me is the club had a second chance in January to do so.
We had qualified for the RO16 in Europa, were still in the FA Cup and were 8th (?) in the league. But the squad was faltering with injuries & we knew Adingra & Mitoma were going to take on...
Often think this myself. I'm reminded of just how damn uncomfortable they are when I get changed out of them after a long day at the football.
Quite a good feeling that though, so maybe that's why?
