[Football] Clubs to Vote on VAR removal

Last night VAR saved us from facing a Pen, got the oppo sent off, and cost us a Pen. Against a "big" side. On balance its usually ok but the big issue is stopping the game and ruining goal spontaneity. I think they just need to really look to speed decision making up and find ways to reduce...

[Albion] Brighton & Hove Albion vs Chelsea *** Official Match Thread ***

We are woeful on the break. We often have numerical advantage attacking their goal and barely ever make it count whereas our opposition regularly seem to score on the break.

    [Albion] Valentín Barco **Signed 20/01/24**

For me Baleba should be playing with Billy to combine the strength with some physicality. Gross and Billy is an issue as a DM pair, too slow and too weak. Gross would have been better doing whatever it was Buonnanote was meant tobe doing. We were horribly over run in the first half in CM.

    [Other Sport] Fury vs Usyk

Fury looking in fantastic shape and mentally in the Zone. Going to be a close fight I suspect.

[Albion] Dahoud "In the end it just didn't work out"

Let him go on a free to anyone who he can agree terms with. No point him hanging around.

[Football] The ticking Profit and Sustainability (FFP) timebomb...

Doesnt the approach Chelsea are attempting still breach Uefa rules? Therefore they are screwed if they get in Europe anyway?

    [News] Solar Storm Warning

Apparently the biggest solar flares since the Carrington Event in 1859 when the developed worlds population wasnt entirely dependant on electricity. Back then it took out telegraph systems so could cause havoc potentially. I'm off to buy some bog roll.

[Albion] If RDZ plays Steele tomorrow...

Could be a good result all round. Arsenal get a reserve keeper that is a great team member and plays football exactly the way Arteta wants his GKs to play. We create space for Rushworth to come in and be next in line once Bart gets sold.

[Politics] Natalie Elphic defects to labour

Well I've never been a Tory because for the most part they are nasty, and represented the interests of the rich at the expense of the middle classes and poor for almost all my working life when they've been in power, Therefore the prospect of a Labour being a shade more aligned to Camerons lib...

[Politics] Natalie Elphic defects to labour

Considering that Labour are now just a new shade of Tory, of course Conservative MPs want to join them.

    [Politics] Russia invades Ukraine (24/02/2022)

So how long do you propose we fight a war that probably can't be won? At what cost to the Ukrainian people and us? Easy to be brave and war hungry sitting in cosy safe East Sussex lapping up media war rhetoric pretending things are going better than they really are. Its ridiculous to claim as...

[Football] Forest docked 4 points FFP

I just stated some facts on a relatively innocuous thread. No need to be a dick about it to massage the ego.

[Football] Forest docked 4 points FFP

If Luton hadn't been quite so useless since Forest lost those points they'd be staying up. The collective bottom 3 this year are probably the worst in PL history. The fact we left 9 points on the table against such poor sides is also the main reason were not getting Europe next season.

    [Politics] Russia invades Ukraine (24/02/2022)

Western media angles aside, Ukraine are obviously in trouble and looking like they could lose the war, hence the new Bn's of funding and weapons being sent over to avert disaster. This is stalemate, and I don't think Ukraine can ever win under the current strategy as only Russia can continue...
