If you can’t see his thinly veiled digs or realise he is just a well disguised Leeds troll then there is no point in us discussing this.

Is there anything he said in the post in question that has not been said by many of our supporters? How often do Stephens and Propper get slammed on here. There is a month long thread devoted to our "desperate need" for a new striker, and the level of bedwetting over Lallana is embarrassing. I have no need to read his other posts to reflect on this one, and for the most part it is in line with a lot of thinking on this forum.

I don’t care what he has said he is a Leeds troll

Nobody is ‘bed wetting’ (are people really still using this term in 2020) we have signed a player who has struggled with fitness for nearly 4 seasons who we are all hoping can stay injury free and propel us up the league.

Nobody sensible is doubting his ability or quality or that when fit he can contribute but when he breaks down 45min into our first game then there are going to be a few raised eyebrows. Fortunately it is nothing serious and he looks to be back this week but on a fans forum it is going to be discussed and a little heightened on the back of a frustrating result.

For me personally it is way too early to be making judgements but let’s be honest it’s in the back of all of our heads isn’t it just a few have decided to voice there concerns already which I would say is a bit premature.

As I said the club is not run by fools. Do people really think that they have gone into this with their eyes closed, without a definite strategy on how to manage his fitness? The simple fact that he was the one who took himself off, not the trainer, tells me that they have made some fairly tight decisions on how to keep him fit.

Who is saying that?

We signed Lallana to improve our first team and take steps to the longer term ambition of being a top 10 club. This will be a calculated gamble based on the clubs assessment of his fitness and injury record but they like us as fans will be hoping his injuries are behind him.

Time will tell if this is a gamble that pays off and fingers crossed it does as he was one of our summer key signings and will make a huge difference if we can get the minutes out of him.

I think some are missing the point.... Lallana wasn’t bought purely to be an ever present first teamer. He offers a lot more to the club behind the scenes and specifically younger players in his presence, attitude and example.

It was so nice to see a player with naturally flowing bouncy hair , he's one of the few football professionals that have managed to stay away from VO5 hair product and still look like he just stepped out of the salon , hurry back Adam .

Exactly, worth £100k a week just for the bouncy locks. I expect Lallana wigs to be on sale in the club shop.

Yes and leadership, having lost Murray and Duffy.

He was a Pompey **** though (even if he came from Cambridge)

He’d challenge GM for the most offside player we have ever had!

Not sure what's wrong with some people on here. He hasn't played football consistently for a long time.. Muscle cramps not unusual to that situation.. He'll be fine. Will take some time to get back up to speed. Thought he was very good when he was on the pitch and excited to see more of him.

Will take some time to get back up to speed!! - at his age even more so
